The Bad Schwartauer company Krüger and Salecker Maschinenbau GmbH & Co KG can be proud of this award. The company was nominated for the “Großer Preis des Mittelstands”. Out of nearly 5,000 nominees, the company made it into the jury list with 742 companies and finally to the top 20. As a finalist, the company was awarded on Saturday at the Hotel Maritim in Düsseldorf. Many thanks to the Sparkasse Holstein and the company Facort for the nomination!
Eleven companies from the four competition regions (Lower Saxony / Bremen, Rhineland-Palatinate / Saarland, North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein / Hamburg) were honored at the gala of the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. The finalist trophy was awarded to 20 company directors.
Krüger & Salecker distributes machinery and equipment all over the world from Bad Schwartau that shape their customers’ products – including confectionery, marzipan and muesli bars. The company’s machines are in demand in a wide variety of markets. The relocation of Krüger and Salecker from Lübeck to Bad Schwartau in 2008 allowed the company to expand its premises to 10,000 square meters including an extension option. Founded in 1948, the company employs 48 people.

The Krüger and Salecker Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG sells machines and plants all over the world from Bad Schwartau, near Lübeck, which shape the products of their customers. In addition to confectionery, for example the famous Lübeck marzipan, this also includes animal feed, clay gums or even scented candles. As the demand for healthy products such as granola bars increases sharply, Krüger and Salecker have been able to develop an important unique selling point in this market through their innovative offerings. Especially the self-developed cereal shaper which is suitable for the production of health, low fat and superfruit products and thus also with the latest trends in the industry. Today, the company’s machines are in demand in a wide variety of markets.
